Smallville Finale Teaser: 'I Am Not Every Man. I Am Lex Luthor.'

TVLine has the first look at The CW's new TV spot promoting the much-anticipated return of Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor in the Smallville two-hour series finale.

It's a moment that very nearly didn't happen, as the actor, who left the show in 2008, had refused repeated offers to reprise is role as Clark Kent's friend turned arch-nemesis. But then in February, Rosenbaum announced he would appear in the May 13 episode, something producers had viewed as critical to the show's finale.

Having Rosenbaum back on the set “was absolutely fantastic,” star Tom Welling tells TVLine, “because it was like he never left. We jumped right back into it.”

The final, two-part episode, appropriately titled "Finale," airs at 8 p.m. ET/PT May 13 on The CW. The first of the final four episodes airs tonight at 8.
