Smallville Duo Up, Up And Away With Charlie's Angels

Former Smallville executive producers and frequent collaborators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are teaming up for yet another high profile project: a television remake of Charlie's Angels for ABC.

Gough and Millar are joining the producers of the Charlie's Angels movies — Drew Barrymore, Leonard Goldberg and Nancy Juvonen — and are replacing Josh Friedman, previously hired to pave the way for a new version of the series. The Sony Pictures Television project is being eyed for a potential pilot order and midseason pickup.

Charlie's Angels is about a trio of law enforcement-trained women who work under the employ of the enigmatic Charlie, a wealthy security contractor who routinely sends the Angels out on various dangerous missions.
