'Sleepy Hollow' Ups Zach Appelman and Lance Gross to Series Regulars

With a creative shakeup still under way, The Hollywood Reporter has word that Fox's "Sleepy Hollow" has promoted actors Zach Appelman and Lance Gross to series regulars.

Gross joined the cast just last month as Abbie Mills' new boss, FBI Special Agent in Charge Daniel Reynolds, who's known for his tenacity and political savvy.

Appelman returns to the series as Joe Corbin, the son of August Corbin (Clancy Brown), who was cursed as a Wendigo when he was introduced in Season 2. In the upcoming season the Marine will team with Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) to look into his late father's work.

They join returning stars om Mison as Ichabod Chrane and Nicole Beharie as Lt. Abbie Mills, along with fellow newcomers Nikki Reed as Betsy Ross and Shannyn Sossamon as the mysterious Pandora.

The third season of "Sleepy Hollow" premieres Thursday, Oct. 1, on Fox.
