One Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim modder decided to completely reinvigorate the game, turning it into an Elden Ring-esque experience with an added twist of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt by playing as Ciri.

Modder sekoepat took to Reddit to show off their work, showcasing a clip of their gameplay that hardly looks recognizable as Skyrim. Playing as Ciri, who looks nearly identical to her appearance in The Witcher 3, sekoepat dispatches bandits and monsters by teleporting through plains and using swift sword skills. Even from the short clip, it's apparent the difficulty level surpasses that of the original Skyrim.

Several Redditors questioned sekoepat on how they managed to make Skyrim so unrecognizable without looking clunky as most overalls do. The answer is a rather massive collection of mods -- 503, to be exact. Considering how mods can make systems run incredibly slow, it takes an equally robust system to process these changes without creating the usual slowdowns and clucky gameplay. For those willing to brave the possible difficulties of running their Skyrim-Witcher-Elden Ring Frankenstein monster, sekoepat provided a handy mod pack for players to download to their Skyrim game.

While there are some truly NSFW editions to the game pack, most range from basic additions to create characters like Ciri or graphic overalls to improve the now ten-year-old game. Some of the more impressive changes include a complete overall of Skyrim's combat system, which many players have found lacking even with mods, and what appears to be a difference in how movement works. After all 503 mods are added to the game, what seems to be the only remnants of the original left standing are the maps and basic storyline.

Given the game's age, Skyrim is the receptor of several mods aimed at keeping the game interesting for new and veteran players. Mods are so commonplace for the game that many consider modders vital to Skyrim's continuation as graphics and gameplay grow increasingly higher in quality. While some mods prove to be intentionally silly, such as one that allows players to glide around Skyrim with a paraglider, others, such as sekoepat's breathe new life into a game that players continue to come back to despite newer RPGs such as Elden Ring and The Witcher 3.

Given the recent announcement of a Witcher 4, which many believe might center on Ciri, it's no surprise someone modded Skyrim to feature Geralt's adopted daughter. Until then, players can enjoy sekoepat's take on Ciri to get in some fresh The Witcher-style adventures.
