McFarlane Toys, the toy company founded by comic book legend Todd McFarlane, will bring Alduin, the primary antagonist of Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, to life with an incredibly detailed new action figure.

Announced on McFarlane Toys' website, the Alduin figure will be released to celebrate Skyrim's 10th anniversary. While Skyrim technically turned ten last November, as marked by the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Anniversary Edition, fans who bring home this striking new figure will be able to keep the celebration going well into the summer, bringing the greatest threat to the continent of Tamriel into their homes.

McFarlane's Alduin figure will make for a striking addition to many collections. The figure boasts a 15" wingspan, ten points of articulation and even a gold finish, lending it an impressive, if not quite canon, sheen. It is presented on a base modeled after Skyrim's Dragon Burial Mounds, where Alduin resurrects the dragons in Skyrim. The base doubles as a flight stand, allowing Alduin to be positioned at rest or in flight.

The Alduin figure is the latest in a number of efforts to celebrate Skyrim's 10th anniversary. Previously, Bethesda released The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Anniversary Edition, presenting the game alongside all previously released DLCs, a handful of Creation Club items and a new fishing mini-game. Meanwhile, fans have been dutifully modding Skyrim since its initial release back in 2011. Recent mods include a stealth overhaul, the introduction of Shadow of Mordor's Nemesis system and a system that finally allows NPCs to address the Dragonborn by name.

McFarlane Toys has been busy as well, with the introduction of the new DC Page Punchers toy line. The line offers inexpensive action figures based on DC characters alongside single-issue comics. McFarlane has also produced toys based on The Batman alongside its ongoing DC Multiverse line. The company also recently introduced a standalone Munitions Pack, allowing fans to arm their figures to the teeth.

Skyrim fans looking to get their hands on the new Alduin figure from McFarlane Toys can do so on the company's website or at online retailers like Amazon. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is available on PlayStation 3, 4 and 5, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows. Initially intended to release on Skyrim's 11th anniversary, Bethesda's next title, Starfield, will now release in 2023 on Xbox Series X|S and Microsoft Windows.
