In the last season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his crew learned of the existence of not only another independently operating faction of S.H.I.E.L.D. but also of the Kree-human hybrids, the Inhumans, who were living secretly apart from human society. Now, the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Instagram account has provided the first clue towards the direction of season three with a photo of Skye (Chloe Bennet) and a secret message.

There is a hidden message within this photo. To crack the code, screenshot the photo and adjust the Instagram filter and brightness to reveal the secret message. When you have it, post it to your Instagram account with #AgentsofSHIELD & #CrackTheCode. Hint: think of Skye's hacktivist organization. Her future is bright. A photo posted by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The post encourages fans to take a screenshot and lighten the filter in order to uncover the secret message, but we went ahead and took care of that set for you.

As can be seen clearly above, the photo poses the question, "Can You Keep a Secret?" This could be a reference to "Secret Warriors" by Jonathan Hickman and Stefano Caselli, the series from which the show draws a lot of influence. In that series, Daisy Johnson (which is Skye's birth name) leads a sleeper team of superpowered peers called a caterpillar team. After Terrigen is exposed to the general population at the end of "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" second season, it's possible that Skye will get a sleeper super team in the show -- something that was teased when Coulson handed her a blue folder labeled "Caterpillar" in the season finale. The tags on the original post also call back to Skye's time with the Rising Tide, a cyber activist group which hasn't been seen since the first season.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season three premieres Tuesday, September 29 at 9 pm EST on ABC.
