A new study published by Office Furniture Online revealed viewers could save more than 30 hours a year by skipping the intros on the television series they stream online.

Other series that landed in the Top 10 for longest intros included The Sopranos, which clocked in at 98 seconds and Dexter's intro at 97 seconds.

"As many of us are still working from home, it can be difficult to separate home life from work time -- and switching off to relax at the end of the day can be hard," said Mark Taylor, Managing Director at Office Furniture Online. "The benefit of taking a decent break during your workday will help to reset your focus and lift your mood for the afternoon, so ensure that you're sticking to your usual lunch hour time.

Taylor added, "Fitting in an episode or two of your favorite TV shows can help ease the stress of the workday, and also curb the habit of eating at your desk, which can make your lunch hour not feel like a break at all."

The research group also learned which popular television series featured the shortest intros. Among the shows with the shortest intros are The Office, which lasts just 20 seconds and Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 21 seconds. Meanwhile, both Parks and Recreation and New Girl tied in third place with intros clocking in at 22 seconds.

The release of Office Furniture Online's research about television intros comes on the heels of another television-centered study by ElectricalDirect. That study found that Netflix is currently the most popular streaming service in 94 countries, followed by Amazon Prime Video in 11 countries and the Russian service Ivi in four countries. ElectricalDirect gathered their data from the number of searches on Google. Netflix received 1.7 billion search hits over the past year, while Amazon Prime Video getting 661 million and Ivi getting 7.3 million. Surprisingly, Disney+ landed in fifth place with just 227 million searches.
