Hello Folks,

Wow, so much has happened at CBR in the last three months. It's really quite out of control, if I do say so myself. As you all know, Robert Kirkman and Erik Larsen have joined CBR with weekly columns that are just doing gangbusters. In addition to those columns, I have more planned to debut in the next six months including a CBR Columns Special Event that'll launch Friday afternoon for four weeks. The column's called "Girl In The Clubhouse" by Johanna Stokes. Johanna will be bringing a decidedly different point of view to the CBR editorial ranks and I think you're all going to enjoy what she has to say. Stop by Friday around Noon for more.

If you're receiving this notice before 5:00 Pacific time on Thursday afternoon, we'd like to invite you to a chat with comics legend Steve Englehart! Steve will be talking with fans and taking your questions in the CBR Chat room. How can you participate? It's really quite simple-- visit the CBR Forums at http://forums.comcibookresources.com. If you're not a registered user, go ahead and create yourself a new account-- it's free-- then click on the "Comic Chat" link at the top of the page. That logs you into the main CBR Chat. Once you're inside, you'll want to click on "Chat Room Change" and select the Steve Englehart chat. It sounds more complicated than it really is, promise! And we've got more chats to come in October including Elliot S! Maggin, Bob Layton, Marv Wolfman and more that we're not quite ready to announce yet.

Traffic at CBR lately has been outrageous. I mean, out of this world outrageous. October was our busiest month ever and we pulled in just shy of 2 Million unique visitors! Clearly we're not messing around over in these parts! And that's not page views or hits or any of those numbers that don't mean much, but unique visitors. Thanks to everyone who's been following CBR's growth these past nine years. There are more good things to come.

Before I let you go, I'd like to invite those of you who haven't visited the CBR Forums before to do so. The CBR Forums are a VERY active community with over 5000 new posts daily. We host forums for all the usual suspects, including a new "Infinite Crisis" forum for those of you jonesing for DC's next big hit. Plus, we host the likes of the official Hellboy and Boom! Studios forums, plus Ron Marz, Mike Wieringo and J. Torres all have forums hosted at CBR. We have a welcome and inviting community and look forward to seeing you there. Registration is free and all you need can be found at http://forums.comcibookresources.com.

That's it for now. Don't miss the chat tonight and check out Johanna's column Friday afternoon. I think you're going to dig it.
