In recent days following the Fox's Comic-Con International presentation for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," it's become increasingly apparent that the mutant-hunting Sentinel robots will play a large role in director Bryan Singer's sequel to "X-Men: First Class." While Singer revealed a photo of Mystique's leg on Twitter yesterday, it seems he's already getting back into the swing of regular photo updates on the social media network, bringing fans the first detailed look at the Sentinels yet.

The photo follows an update on the Trask Industries viral website with a video that celebrates 50 years of the mutant-hunting robots.

Opening May 23, 2014, "X-Men: Days of Future Past" stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Daniel Cudmore, Lucas Till, Omar Sy, Booboo Stewart, Fan Bingbing, Adan Canto and Josh Helman.
