SIN CITY 2
Director Robert Rodriguez talked to Latino Review about his plans for sequels. "A Dame to Kill For is the basis for the second one," he said. "I think Marv (Mickey Rourke) will come back, before he died and Dwight's (Clive Owen) in that one, Gail's (Rosario Dawson) in that one, both Goldie and Wendy (Jaime King) are together, you see the twins together – one blonde, the other black and white, Miho's (Devon Aoki) in that one, and then there's a bunch of new characters. We're still writing the script to see if there's enough for a third one or we might just stick with the second one. We're supposed to start in January, but we might start earlier if we keep working up this clip."
V FOR VENDETTA
The Vertigo adaptation, originally slated to open on Nov. 4, has been pushed back to next March, a Warner Brothers spokesperson told Sci Fi Wire. In a statement, Warner said: "We have moved the release date of 'V For Vendetta' to March 17, 2006, to accommodate the movie's post-production schedule." The spokesperson, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, denied that the delay had anything to do with the movie's subject matter or the current political climate. V for Vendetta has come under scrutiny for the coincidence of its subject matter and the recent terrorist bombings in London.
Ain't It Cool News' Quint spends some time addressing the rumors about the villain Ol' Web Head will face, even suspecting purposeful misdirection by Sony in the "leaks."
According to Comics Continuum, "Tara Strong is providing the voice of Vicky Vale in 'The Batman vs. Dracula,' the straight-to-DVD animated movie from Warner Bros." The movie marks the first appearance of the character in The Batman universe. Strong also does the voice of Raven in "Teen Titans."
