As The Simpsons prepares for its 31st season, the Fox animated series has released a musical clip showing President Donald Trump confronting Democratic leadership in a sequence spoofing the Broadway play West Side Story.

The clip opens with Trump lamenting the difficulties of the job and taking out his frustrations on a picture of freshmen Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib, singing in the style of the musical's "America," written by Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein.

To his surprise and anger, the Congresswomen leap from the photo and confront him in the White House before he flees outside to see all the numerous Democratic candidates for President of the United States similarly waiting for him.

The clip is the latest by the long-running animated series to take on Trump. A previous installment saw the President attempt to bribe Special Counsel Robert Mueller from completing his investigation.
