Though initially conceived as a simple villain for the series, Mr. Montgomery Burns has become a staple of The Simpsons series. The character has been shown to possess many physical abnormalities over the years, most of which are due to his advanced age. However, a recently unveiled piece of production art features one more eccentricity.

A production cel for "Who Shot Mr. Burns (Part Two)" has gone up for sale. It features Mr. Burns and Smithers in a bathroom with Smithers drunk and Burns stepping out from a shower, completely nude. In the cel, Burns is shown with an essentially blank pelvic region. The cel is currently priced at $7,900 and is available for purchase at the Wonderful World of Art gallery.

"Who Shot Mr. Burns" was a two-part episode that aired in 1995. Part of a publicity stunt, the first part invited the audience to submit their guesses regarding who had shot Mr. Burns. Several hints were included throughout the episode, hidden within the animation. Ultimately no one guessed correctly -- that it was Maggie Simpson that shot Burns with his own gun -- and a winner was chosen at random.

The Simpsons stars the voices of Dan Castellaneta, Nancy Cartwright, Harry Shearer, Julie Kavner, Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria. New episodes air Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
