Ronan and Silver Surfer have faced off more than a few times, but their most notable fight happened in Silver Surfer Vol 3 #13.

When Morg first encountered Silver Surfer in Silver Surfer Vol 3 #69, he quickly bested the Surfer in a fight, who even had a backup in the form of Firelord, another former Herald of Galactus.

After realizing that he and Firelord alone were no match for Morg, Silver Surfer recruited other former Heralds of Galactus, like Nova, Terrax, and Air-Walker, and the four defeated Morg, leaving Galactus without a herald.

6 Ego The Living Planet Was Born From A Doomed World

One of the most well-known cosmic villains in the Marvel universe is Ego, The Living Planet. Known initially as Egros, he was transformed into a living planet after a being known as the Stranger combined his physical body with a simultaneously exploding world, which resulted in the birth of Ego. In his comic debut, Thor #132, Ego faced off against Thor after Ego had decided that a victory against Thor would deem him powerful enough to take over the universe. 5 Tyrant Is A Creation Of Galactus

Tyrant made his comic debut in Silver Surfer Vol 3 #81 as the new, artificial ally of Galactus. As a creation of Galactus, Tyrant is a synthetic tasked with finding planets for Galactus to consume.

However, Galactus found out that his creation was obsessed with power and conquest. So, rather than assisting him in his hunt for sustenance, Galactus and Tyrant engaged in a fight that left galaxies destroyed in its wake.

4 Terrax Was Also A Herald Of Galactus

Originally the dictator of a small country called Lanlak, Terrax The Tamer was chosen as Herald of Galactus after Galactus realized that he needed a herald who had no moral hang-ups about destroying planets. When Galactus discovered Terrax, who was then known as Tyros, he made a deal with the fantastic Four, agreeing to aid them in a fight if they'd go to Tyros' world and subdue him. When Terrax and Silver Surfer eventually met in battle in Fantastic Four #260, Silver Surfer killed Terrax with the power cosmic. Years later, after Terrax was reborn, the two had a rematch in New Warriors #17, where Surfer defeated Terrax again and marooned him on a planet in deep space.

Since making his comic debut in Iron Man #55, Thanos has come into conflict with numerous powerful Marvel characters like Drax The Destroyer, Nova, and even the Cosmic Pantheon. Silver Surfer and Thanos famously battled during the storyline titled The Silver Surfer: Rebirth Of Thanos, when Thanos came back from the dead after Mistress Death tasked him with balancing life in the universe.

1 Galactus Created The Silver Surfer

As the creator of Silver Surfer, Galactus is, without a doubt, the greatest enemy Silver Surfer has ever known. Under the hypnotic abilities of Galactus' power cosmic, Silver Surfer spent years wandering the cosmos, sacrificing millions of innocent lives to feed the insane hunger of Galactus. It wasn't until Silver Surfer came to earth and met the Fantastic Four in Fantastic Four #48 (which is also the comic debut of Galactus) that Surfer was able to overcome Galactus' mental hold on him. As he did, a rush of memories came back to Norin Radd, reminding him of all the horrible things he was responsible for as Herald of Galactus.
