Add one more original "Ghostbusters" star to the cast of Paul Feig's reboot.

The director announced this morning that Sigourney Weaver has a role in the film, joining franchise veterans Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts.

"Gang, trying to keep surprises but this is about to leak," Feig tweeted, "so I'll tell you myself: the awesome Sigourney Weaver is going to be in our movie!"

In the 1984 original film, Weaver played cellist Dana Barrett, whose apartment is haunted by the spirit of the demigod Zuul. She reprised the role in the 1989 sequel. It's not known what role she'll play in the reboot.

"Ghostbusters," which wrapped principal photography over the weekend, stars Melissa Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Kristen Wiig, with Chris Hemsworth, Neil Casey, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams and Matt Walsh. The film opens July 22, 2016.
