There are characters in anime of all shapes and sizes. While there is a fair number of giant characters, there is also an equal number of tiny characters, who may not always get the spotlight. Despite being so small, many of these characters have an abundance of confidence, whether they have the power to back it up or not. Another common trait that many tiny characters share is the fact that they do not look their age at all. Some of the smallest characters have lived for hundreds of years.

When Krillin was introduced in the original Dragon Ball series, he was already shorter than Goku, something that still holds true to this day. He started off at 3'9'', but would later become 5 feet tall once reaching adulthood.

Krillin was insecure about his height, and he would often get bullied for his tiny stature. After training under Master Roshi alongside Goku, Krillin became strong enough to defeat the bullies with his bare hands.

Yachiru Kusajishi was the former Vice-Captain of the 11th Division in the Gotei 13. As her small and youthful appearance would indicate, she has a very childlike demeanor.

She loves to play games, often gets lost, and is usually cheerful and carefree. Despite all of this, she proved herself to be worthy of her position, given that she was a very capable fighter who could hold her own even in unfavorable situations.

7 Sailor Moon: Chibiusa Tsukino Is 3'6''

Chibiusa, also known as Sailor Chibi Moon in her magical girl persona, is Tuxedo Mask's and Sailor Moon's child, who traveled to the past. Neither she nor her parents' past selves realize their connection at first, and Chibiusa often acts bratty, happy to criticize Sailor Moon at any given opportunity.

Given that she is still a child, she is at least 3'6'', but in a fight, she is still capable of pulling her own weight.

Puar went to school to learn how to transform. There, he met Oolong, who bullied Puar because Puar was much smaller than him. However, only Puar graduated, becoming much more talented at shapeshifting.

Ever since he met Yamcha, the two were practically inseparable, and are still more often than not seen together years later. Although he may be a mere 2 feet tall, Puar has proven to be a great asset on more than one occasion, even transforming into scissors to cut off Goku's tail to stop his rampaging.

Happosai is hundreds of years old, but he is still so talented at martial arts that his students are fearful of him. Being both crafty and elusive, thanks to his incredibly short height, Happosai has gotten away with a countless number of crimes, forcing his students to take the heat for him.

He is vain, perverted, and petty, making it impossible for most of the characters in the series to like him. However, his strength is undeniable and impressive for someone hundreds of years old.

Part of this devotion is thanks to his appreciation of their blood, which is delicious to a flea like him. Despite his loyalty, Myoga is less than an inch tall, so it makes sense that he would be cowardly. Whenever he senses even the slightest bit of danger, he flees the scene immediately.
