Since the Letterkenny spinoff was first announced, fans have been hoping that Shoresy will finally put faces to Reilly and Jonesy's moms, who Shoresey repeatedly mentions when taunting his fellow hockey players. However, Letterkenny and Shoresey director Jacob Tierney has revealed that Reilly and Jonesy's moms are unlikely to appear in the spinoff series. "We make reference to it and address it, but when I read it, I wasn't like, 'Where are Reilly and Jonesy's moms in this?!'" he said. "It was clear we were doing something different."
