Sherilyn Fenn will reprise her role as Audrey Horne in the "Twin Peaks" revival series. According to Deadline's report, she will have a major part to play in the upcoming series. Fenn is also scheduled to appear in a recurring role on Showtime's "Shameless."
Like the mysterious show itself, updates about “Twin Peaks” episodes remain shrouded in secrecy. It was initially reported that Peter Sarsgaard was on board for the show, but the actor later denied his involvement. Other rumored actors in the revival include Amanda Seyfried, Balthazar Gerry and Robert Knepper. David Lynch is attached to direct the miniseries from a script he penned with co-creator Mark Frost. Star Kyle MacLachlan is expected to return as well.
The series, which began production in September, will be shot as a movie, with Lynch then editing it into individual episodes (it was announced for nine, but Showtime anticipates there will be more). Though the latest teaser said the show is “Coming Soon,” the latest reports indicate Showtime’s “Twin Peaks” revival won’t debut until 2017.
