Happy Saturday and welcome to Shelf Porn, our weekly look at one fan’s collection. Today's shelves come from Eric in Sector 2814, who shows off his collection of Green Lantern (and other) figures.

If you’d like to see your collection featured here on ROBOT 6, you can find instructions on how to do so at the end of this post.

And now here's Eric ...

Green Lantern has always been my favorite comic character, but not Hal Jordan or any of the Earth lanterns. I liked the aliens. I started collecting alien lantern action figures when there were just 3, before Geoff Johns started writing: Tomar Re, Sinestro and Abin Sur. Then they came out with G'Nort and I thought that was all I would ever see. Boy was I wrong, and the collection has grown enormously. Some are the wrong size because they were only released in non-6 inch versions (like Aya & Razer!). And I have collected as many size green lanterns for props. Plus, my kids like some human lanterns though. And, a prize of my collection is a personally made Green Lantern from Joe Giella who I know through a friend of my brother (we have not met but he made it for me). And another unique addition is my son's who loves legos and got the GL legos from China.

Also, I have a collection of 'life-size' props including some versions of GL rings on the left and error rings on the right (although only a few). In the middle is a HexBot that looks like a Blue Beetle scarab. Finally are my symbiote figures and some animal & plant-type figures.

If you’d like to see your collection featured here on Robot 6, here’s what you need to do:

1. Take some photos and save them as jpgs.

2. Write up a little something about your collection.

3. Send them to me in an email. Please put the text into an email and attach the images as separate files; don’t embed them into a Word doc. Uploading them to Dropbox or a similar service also works.
