Happy Saturday and welcome to Shelf Porn, where one fan invites us over to check out at their stuff. Today Rob shows us his office, where he keeps his action figures, statues, comics and more.

If you’d like to see your collection right here on ROBOT 6, you can find instructions at the end of this post.

And now here's Rob!

Hey Guys,

I’ve been a super long time lurker on here and enjoyed everyone’s posts and was always one or two statues away from submitting. Well I’m moving soon so everything will be packed up and what better way to force my hand than that? Pictured is my office, where most of my comic stuff stays, and my living room, where everything has spilled in to.

I was always a giant comic fan growing up and got back in to several years ago during law school, (don’t ever go, it’s horrible). I’m an avid reader and it was impossible to enjoy regular books while reading through many, many textbooks at the same time. However, graphic novels were a perfect break and Batman R.I.P. was the first book that got me back in to everything. I had absolutely no idea what was going on in the story and immediately had to buy everything leading up to that story and then obviously see where it ended. At this point, I have far too many books and believe I have included almost all of them. I also get my weekly issues of anything Batman-related and Parker-related Spidey but keep those stashed away in long boxes.

My office has a good amount of figures from Hot Toys and Kotobukiya, some Sideshow statues and a whole lot of Bowens. All of the comics on the wall are signed by their writer, artist or both; Jim Lee, Frank Miller, George Perez, Geoff Johns and the list goes on. Behind my Green Arrow statue, which is by far my favorite, are some original blue pencillings from the destruction of Star City and Merlyn and Ollie’s fight. Behind Batman are some prints by Jock, a Batcave Mondo print and print of GCPD with Gordon and Batman on the roof.

My collection has spilled out in to my living room where I keep my Batman Black and Whites, Ultron and Thanos statues. I have some awesome Wes Anderson prints above my couch and have the rest of my books out there too.

I’m buying a house now and will have a giant room to display everything in once I get settled so hopefully I can submit again when everything is finished, (it never is though).

Thanks for looking everyone,

Rob
