Netflix has renewed She-Ra and the Princesses of Power for a third season.In a post on Twitter, the show's official account confirmed the announcement and revealed Oscar-winning actor Geena Davis -- known for her roles in Beetlejuice and The Accidental Tourist -- will be playing Huntara. In the original series, Huntara is a Silaxian and fights for the Horde, though she eventually befriended She-Ra. She proved an enterprising and dangerous foe for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Although it's not clear at this time exactly how she'll join the show, it likely has to do with the portal Hordak spent most of Season 2 working on.

There are few other details available on She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Season 3.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, starring Aimee Carrero, Karen Fukuhara, AJ Michalka, Marcus Scribner, Reshma Shetty, Lorraine Toussaint, Keston John, Lauren Ash, Christine Woods, Genesis Rodriguez, Jordan Fisher, Vella Lovell, Merit Leighton, Sandra Oh and Krystal Joy Brown, is now available on Netflix. Season 3 hits the streaming service on August 2.
