The final season of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power debuts on May 15, and to stoke fans' anticipation, Dreamworks has released a new poster for Season 5. It shows off the entire cast ready to fight, with Horde Prime looming menacingly in the background.
Posted on the show's official Instagram, the image doesn't contain very much new information, but there are some subtle hints that can be gleaned from it.
Adora and Catra are facing off against each other in the poster, implying that they'll be fighting each other this season. While the end of Season 4 saw Catra swiftly pivot to be Horde Prime's lieutenant when the galactic conqueror came to Etheria, it was unclear how genuine that move was (especially given that it was done after she was captured alongside Glimmer). If it was a serious decision after all, Season 5 might see Catra as the leader of Horde Prime's invasion force.
It's also interesting to note who's not present: Hordak, the villain of the first four seasons of the show. Hordak is a clone of Horde Prime, and at the end of the season he was taken away to be "reconditioned", since he'd assumed his own name and identity. Hordak is conspicuously absent from the poster, so it remains to be seen if or when he'll pop up again in the show's final season.
