Legend of the Fire Princess arrives in early 2020 from writer Gigi D.G. and artist Paulina Ganucheau, and is based on stories by Stevenson. According to the writer, the graphic novel will feature brand new content, as well as a mysterious "big reveal."

Per its official synopsis, Legend of the Fire Princess revolves around Adora learning more about her growing powers as She-Ra. She discovers a new ability, which allows her to heal corrupted runestones (the source of the magic used by the series' princesses.)

She-Ra leads the Rebellion on a quest to recover a runestone that was once used by a Fire Princess, whose thirst for power drove her to the point of corruption, resulting in the fall of her kingdom. The Rebellion hopes that this powerful runestone will give them an edge in their fight against the Horde, who also have their sights set on the ancient relic.
