Netflix's She-Ra and the Princesses of Power has seen the iconic 80s fantasy character redesigned for a new generation with the new look already inspiring fan art online.Singapore-based digital artist Stanley "Artgerm" Lau is among the new She-Ra's fans and posted a breathtaking original art piece showcasing the updated Princess of Power preparing for battle on his Twitter account.

Artgerm has been active recently with both Marvel and DC providing variant covers for high-profile series across both publishers. This week, the artist has illustrated a variant cover for the debut issue of the eagerly anticipated Fantastic Four relaunch by Dan Slott and Sara Pichelli while next month he provides a variant for the third issue of Joëlle Jones' Catwoman.

Developed for television by Lumberjanes co-creator Noelle Stevenson, the She-Ra and the Princesses of Power revival series is expected to premiere on Netflix sometime later this year. The upcoming animated series boasts an extensive all-star voice cast including Aimee Carrero, Karen Fukuhara, AJ Michalka, Marcus Scribner, Reshma Shetty, Lorraine Toussaint, Keston John, Lauren Ash, Christine Woods, Genesis Rodriguez, Jordan Fisher, Vella Lovell, Merit Leighton, Sandra Oh, and Krystal Joy Brown.
