The following contains spoilers for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 1, Episode 3, "The People v. Emil Blonsky," which premiered Sept. 1, on Disney+.

A classic group of Marvel Comics baddies arrived on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and they're a group who menaced everyone from Shulkie to Thor. While the group doesn't quite look like their comics counterparts, chances are by the end of this season they'll have stepped up their supervillain game.

The Wrecking Crew is a group born out of the Thor comics, when Dirk Garthwaite's crowbar was enchanted by the Norn Queen after she mistook him for Loki. Wrecker and his magic crowbar battled Thor until he was ultimately defeated, by Lady Sif in the Destroyer armor, and locked away. He broke out of prison, as comics villains are wont to do, with three friends -- Bulldozer, Piledriver and Thunderball -- and shared his magic crowbar power among them. Later on, Titania and Wrecker grew close, and she unofficially joined the Wrecking Crew. So, all the comics elements are there for adaptation. However, in perfect She-Hulk fashion, rather than a case of mistaken identity, the Wrecking Crew got their magic weapons by "robbing an Asgardian construction worker."

Marvel's Wrecking Crew

The members of the Wrecking Crew weren't just trying to pick a fight with Jennifer Walters. Thunderball, wearing a ski mask, tries to inject her with a device that looks like it was meant to take a blood sample. In Season 1, Episode 1, "A Normal Amount of Rage," Bruce made it clear how dangerous "Hulk blood" could be. It looks like all four members of the Wrecking Crew are there, however only Wrecker and Thunderball are named in the credits. In the comics, these guys are able to hang in a fistfight with Thor and the other Avengers, but in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, She-Hulk is able to handle them pretty easily.

Wrecker also mentions that "the boss" is not going to be pleased. Who this mysterious Big Bad could be is one of the more interesting questions raised by She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Thus far, the legal comedy has stuck mostly to jokes and building out the world of the MCU. It's possible, with a stint on Echo on the horizon, that Wilson Fisk could be involved. But, he's pretty much only focused on being the Kingpin of New York, and She-Hulk takes place in Los Angeles. There is also Sharon Carter, revealed to be the mysterious Power Broker on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. They could even be working for Baron Zemo, who is always looking for ways to get over on Marvel's superheroes. Yet, anyone who remembers the "Great Mephisto Hunt" from the WandaVision era, knows the answer is probably simpler than any of them.

In the pilot, She-Hulk makes her hero debut by knocking out supervillain and social media influencer Titania. Given that she has a relationship with the Wrecking Crew in the comics, it would be a simple thing to make these ineffectual goons her muscle. Whether she ends up in jail for her courtroom antics or not, Titania could be nursing a grudge against She-Hulk. If the character is meant to make her way to Thunderbolts, she's going to have to pop back up on this show. Putting her with the Wrecking Crew, especially considering the messes they are now, fits perfectly with the tone of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

The Wrecking Crew will, hopefully, get a power upgrade and become a little more fearsome than they were in "The People v. Emil Blonsky." Even if they don't, a collection of relatively superpowered goofballs are always useful in a comic book universe.
