Update Sept. 28, 2022: The character in this trailer previously thought to be Matador was later revealed to be El Águila.

Two Daredevil villains have been spotted in the latest trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

Marvel Studios recently released a 30-second television spot for She-Hulk titled "Date." Marvel fans were quick to notice that the new footage included two classic Daredevil villains that have not been introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe until now: Matador and Man-Bull. Matador was originally a famous bullfighter in Spain, who swore revenge upon all mankind after his cruelty towards the bulls made the crowd hate him and led to a riot during one of his performances while Man-Bull became a supervillain after being ejected with an experimental serum that turned him into a humanoid bull. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will mark the first time both characters have been portrayed in live-action and adapted for television.

She Hulk Trailer Daredevil Classic Villains

Matador and Man-Bull are the second and third Daredevil characters to be confirmed to appear in She-Hulk after The Man Without Fear himself. Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil from previous MCU projects. The character will be sporting his iconic red and yellow costume from the comics. Besides a previous trailer for the Disney+ comedy series showing that Daredevil and She-Hulk will meet, not much is known about how the character will fit into the show. However, both Matt Murdock and She-Hulk's alter ego Jennifer Walters are lawyers which have some fans expecting the two might cross paths in the courtroom. Daredevil's involvement in the She-Hulk series had been reportedly planned over a year ago.

Daredevil Has a Bright MCU Future

Cox is also slated to return as Daredevil for two future Disney+ series: Hawkeye spinoff series Echo and a self-titled series called Daredevil: Born Again. The actor will reportedly appear in three episodes of Echo and sport a red and black suit. His story arc for the series is that he will be looking for a former ally, rumored to be Jessica Jones. Echo will also include Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin, who was recently spotted shooting scenes for the spinoff series. D'Onofrio will also return for Daredevil: Born Again, which will begin streaming on Disney+ in 2024. The first season will consist of 18 episodes, which is notably higher than the typical six to nine episodes most Marvel Disney+ series have received. It is unknown at this time if Matador and Man-Bull will appear in Born Again or if their inclusion in She-Hulk simply acts as an Easter egg for longtime Marvel Comics readers.
