Tim Roth, who will reprise his role as Emil Blonsky/Abomination in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, revealed how it felt working with Mark Ruffalo in the upcoming Marvel series compared to his The Incredible Hulk movie co-star Edward Norton.

Roth previously appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the monstrous enemy of Norton's Bruce Banner in the 2008 film. In an interview with Forbes, Roth talked about his experience acting alongside Ruffalo, who first replaced Norton as the character in 2012's The Avengers. "Yeah, I was like, 'You've changed,'" Roth joked. "It's kind of fun. We used to hang around and muck about between takes, and we had a nice time. I very much respect Mark as an actor, so even under those bizarre and wonderful circumstances, that one was a treasure."

Roth also explained how it felt returning to the Abomination in She-Hulk after not having played the character for over a decade. "Coming back, I didn't know what to expect," he said. "Once I started shooting on it, I didn't know how to go about my business, and it was a bit disconcerting." Roth had nothing but praise for his co-stars, stating, "Tatiana Maslany is incredible, and She-Hulk is a comedy, and she's bloody good at comedy but, to be fair, she's pretty, pretty good at everything. When Mark Ruffalo showed up to do his stuff that I was involved in and saw the two of them interacting, it was a penny drop moment for me, and I went, 'Oh, that's what we're doing. Oh, okay,' and then I knew what to do. Basically, on the first segment I was involved in, I got some serious direction from them about we go about our business there, and then it was all playtime. It was a lot of fun."

Abomination is not the only major MCU player to make their return in She-Hulk, as the series will also feature the return of Daredevil (Charlie Cox) from his now-canceled Netflix series; a shocker that even the show's writers were surprised they could include. Maslany, who plays She-Hulk's titular lead, sang Cox's praises following the confirmation of Daredevil's return in the show. "I think the fans will be really happy," she said. "Because [Cox is] amazing. He's really amazing."

Unlike other Marvel Disney+ series, She-Hulk will feature nine 30-minute episodes instead of six typically hour-long episodes. While Season 2 has yet to be confirmed by Marvel at this time, series director Kat Coiro recently revealed that "there is definitely the possibility" that the studio will renew She-Hulk for a second season at some point in the future.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on Thursday, Aug. 18.
