It appears that Emil Blonsky/Abomination will have a new career in Marvel's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, according to images from the latest promo video for the Disney+ series.
At around the halfway mark of the "I'm a Hulk" video, there's a brief glimpse of a scene set at what appears to be some sort of motivational retreat. Aside from Jameela Jamil's Titania, a poster is also visible, which indicates the retreat is called "Abomaste". This is likely a combination of the word "abomination" and the greeting "namaste". Other posters attribute the quotes "achieve anything" and "make your goal a reality" to Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth), better known as the Abomination. These clues suggest that Blonsky, who last appeared in Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, has apparently become a self-help guru.
The most recent trailer for She-Hulk indicates that Jennifer Walters will be tasked with representing Blonsky as his attorney. She-Hulk expresses her reservations about this assignment, given that Blonsky's scaly alter-ego tried to kill her cousin Bruce Banner/The Hulk during the events of The Incredible Hulk (2008). What remains to be seen is whether Blonsky will remain a villain or be reformed by the series. Blonsky greets Walters with "namaste" in the trailer, which hints that he may have mellowed out in the years since his colossal battle with the Hulk in Harlem.
The Abomination was one of the first super villains introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After a 13-year hiatus, Roth reprised his role (in a more comic-accurate appearance) for a cameo in Shang-Chi. That film had the web-eared monster facing Wong in a cage fighting tournament, ultimately losing to the Sorcerer Supreme after being knocked out by his own punch. She-Hulk may provide some insight into what has changed about Abomination in the years since being defeated by the Hulk.
Blonsky was initially introduced as a Russian-born British Royal Marine who was recruited by General Ross (William Hurt) to help capture Banner. Feeling that his best years are behind him and envious of the Hulk's raw power, Blonsky volunteers to be injected with a flawed strain of super-soldier serum. He gains enhanced physical abilities and a healing factor, but is still unable to bring down the Hulk and deliver him to Ross. Blonsky then forces scientist Samuel Sterns to inject him with Banner's blood, resulting in him transforming into the grotesque Abomination.
