Tatiana Maslany has told Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige that she wants to lead an A-Force movie.

The actor, who is set to make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, was asked if she wanted to see the Jade Giantess step into her comic book role as a leader in the MCU. "Yes. Yes. Yes, yes," Maslany repeated, implying that she would love to portray that side of the character in future projects. The interviewer also asked if Maslany would be interested in starring in an adaptation of A-Force, a short-lived comic book series featuring an all-female team of Avengers, to which the actor excitedly said, "Kevin, hire me."

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered Hulk. The character first appeared in Savage She-Hulk #1 (1980) and was created by Stan Lee and John Buscema. Jennifer is the cousin of Bruce Banner/The Hulk and received her gamma-infused powers from him, which granted her the same abilities as the Hulk, though she generally remains more in control of her personality while as Jade Giantess.

Jennifer Walters is Having an Identity Crisis in She-Hulk

Maslany has explained that Jennifer will not openly accept having to deal with being She-Hulk right away in the upcoming series. "Jen has had her life planned out for her and has worked really hard to get to where she is as a lawyer, and to have this thing happen to her that sort of derails everything. It is a bit of an identity crisis," the actor said. "What I find really compelling about the story is when she’s She-Hulk she’s treated very differently than when she’s Jen. There’s a lot of having to affirm her intelligence when she’s Jen and assert her role and trying to get respect, whereas when she’s She-Hulk there’s this inherent sort of awe inspired by her that’s at odds with how she wants to be perceived."

Written by Jessica Gao and directed by Kay Coiro and Anu Valia, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on Aug. 18, with new episodes streaming each Thursday until Oct. 12.
