She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star Tatiana Maslany admits to blowing up Charlie Cox's phone in the hopes of landing a role on the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Maslany was asked about a potential reprisal of her role for the upcoming Disney+ series after Charlie Cox made his return to the small screen as Daredevil on She-Hulk. "I keep texting him being like, 'Am I required for set today?' And he says, 'We'll let you know by lunch.' But he just keeps putting it off," Maslany joked. "I've been waiting outside the set in my She-Hulk costume, so just put me in, coach."

Cox reprised his role as Daredevil for the penultimate episode of Season 1 of She-Hulk, which saw him go up against the titular hero both in court and in the streets before the romantic sparks began flying between them. In September, Disney announced that production on the 18-episode first season of Daredevil: Born Again would begin in 2023. The news came with confirmation that Vincent D'Onofrio will also be returning to his role as Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin.

Will Other Marvel Heroes Appear on Daredevil: Born Again?

Cox has previously opened up about his hopes of seeing other former MCU co-stars make their own appearances. "People have been asking me who I want to see in the Daredevil show. Obviously, I have no idea what [Marvel's] thinking for that," Cox stated. "It would be great if [Tatiana Maslany] could come in for that, for a couple of episodes. I have no idea if that's a possibility or not, but it'd be fun."

Maslany herself has commented on her hopes to return to the role of She-Hulk on Daredevil: Born Again, although she noted, "I needed an invite to return that favor. I need a contract. I would love to." Maslany also touched on the relationship between her and Cox's respective characters in the MCU, remarking that "it seems like he’s just cool with who she is" and that the couple could potentially "go all kinds of ways."

When asked if his appearance on She-Hulk would lead into the events of Daredevil: Born Again or be connected to them in any way, Cox responded, "I don't think so. No, no -- I think [Daredevil: Born Again is] in its own moment."

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is currently available for streaming on Disney+. Daredevil: Born Again is expected to premiere sometime in 2024.
