With development of She-Hulk underway, rumors over who would play the titular character swirled. One of the most prominent fancasts was Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Stephanie Beatriz.Beatriz shot down the rumors on Twitter, responding to a fan edit of her as Jennifer Walters with a caption that read, "But like how do I get my arms to actually look like this. Can someone give me a plan or something? (Also, I think this show starts shooting in August and I’m unavailable because we’re shooting season 8 of Brooklyn 99 at that same time. Beatriz had previously expressed excitement at the possibility of starring as She-Hulk in her own show, but now, the actress says it isn't a possibility due to her conflicting filming schedule with Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Not much is known about the She-Hulk show as of yet, but rumors have been flying around about it for weeks. Most recently, it was teased that Red Hulk might be a part of the show.

Developed for television by Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty), She-Hulk is slated to premiere exclusively on Disney+. No release date or cast has been announced at this time.
