Josh Segarra joked that he's down for a musical spinoff of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

In an interview with E! News, Renée Elise Goldsberry, who plays Mallory Book on the show and is an alum of such legal shows as The Good Wife and won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Hamilton, said that the Disney+ series' courtroom scenes were "everything I ever dreamed of." However, she then added "minus, maybe a musical number or two."

Segarra, who plays Augustus "Pug" Pugliese and has starred in such musicals as Lysistrata Jones and On Your Feet!, added, "Maybe that's what we're missing." He then joked that he'd want to do "She-Hulk: The Musical." "Let's go! Let's go," he said.

"She-Hulk: The Musical" is a reference to an in-universe musical based on the life of Steve Rogers/Captain America called "Rogers: The Musical." A portion of that stage production appeared in 2021's Hawkeye and retold the events of the Battle of New York from 2012's Avengers. Since then, Marvel Studios put on a live performance of the song "Save the City" from "Rogers: The Musical" at D23 Expo and released that track online.

What Is She-Hulk: Attorney at Law?

Created by Jessica Gao, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is the newest Marvel Studios series on Disney+. The show follows lawyer Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) after she gains superpowers following exposure to the gamma-irradiated blood of her cousin, Bruce Banner/Hulk. As the name implies, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law mixes super heroics with legal antics. Currently, the show has Mary MacPherran/Titania (Jameela Jamil) -- a super-powered social media influencer -- acting as its main antagonist. The show also features Tim Roth's return as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, the antagonist of 2008's The Incredible Hulk, and Sorcerer Supreme Wong (Benedict Wong).

At the time of writing, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law holds an 87 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Viewership figures for the show have been relatively strong. However, it's unclear at this time if Marvel Studios will give the giant green lawyer a second season on Disney+.

New episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law release Thursdays on Disney+. The show, which just put out its sixth episode, "Just Jen," is slated to run for nine episodes. The next outing will be directed by Anu Valia from a script by Zeb Wells.
