Megan Thee Stallion has officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After months of rumors, the critically-acclaimed rapper has been confirmed to appear in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The news was revealed during a profile of Megan Thee Stallion for The Cut, which listed She-Hulk as one of her upcoming projects alongside the A24 musical comedy Fucking Identical Twins. Marvel fans have expected the rapper to appear in the Disney+ series ever since stunt performer Marche Day added being Megan Thee Stallion's stunt double on She-Hulk to her resume.

Megan Thee Stallion is the latest high-profile addition to She-Hulk. Following returning appearances from Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth as Bruce Banner/Hulk and Emil Blonsky/Abomination, respectively, the Disney+ series will also be graced by Charlie Cox's presence, who is slated to reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil for an undisclosed number of episodes. Cox is expected to portray The Man Without Fear in a more comedic and light-hearted tone for She-Hulk as opposed to the more serious, violent and gritty tone that shrouded the Netflix Daredevil series the character originated in. "[Cox] has such reverence and love for that character," She-Hulk's head writer Jessica Gao stated. "It's clear that the character meant so much to him, but he also came very game to play around. He was totally up for more funny banter and having this fun dynamic with Jen and She-Hulk."

Is a Second Season of She-Hulk in the Works?

Marvel Studios has not officially renewed She-Hulk for a second season at this time, but director Kat Coiro has revealed that there is definitely the possibility for future seasons of the Disney+ series. Gao added that she has known where she wanted to take the Jade Giantess next since pitching the series to Marvel years ago. The head writer also stated that although She-Hulk Season 1 tells a complete story, it does leave the door open for future seasons. "There are a lot of things that we just couldn’t get to, or had to cut from the first season, and it would be really nice for those things to see the light of day again," Gao said.
