The Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to get another gamma-powered superhero.
The Disney+ streaming service announced a new She-Hulk series at the D23 Expo in Anaheim Friday evening. Along with the announcement came the official logo, featuring the "She" in purple colors and "Hulk" in the familiar green.
No release date or casting details were revealed during the Disney+ presentation, but it is possible She-Hulk will follow the previously-announced series What If?, Loki, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Hawkeye on the release schedule.
For those not familiar, She-Hulk is Bruce Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters, who gains the powers of the Hulk after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin. However, unlike Bruce, Jennifer remains in her Hulk form without a transformation. The comics portray her continuing her everyday life as a lawyer while also protecting the world as a superhero. She-Hulk has been a member of the Avengers, Fantastic Four and A-Force, an all-women superhero team.
Other Disney+ series announced include Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight. Also, Emily VanCamp will reprise her role as Sharon Carter on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, with Wyatt Russell playing John Walker, aka US Agent.
