The upcoming She-Hulk TV show on Disney+ could have a first season that stretches beyond six episodes.

According to a post on the Marvel Studios Spoilers Subreddit, Niki Caro will be directing six episodes of She-Hulk while Anu Valia is directing further episodes of the program. This would indicate that there will be more than just six episodes in She-Hulk's first season.

It was recently announced during Disney's Investor Day 2020 event on Dec. 10 that Orphan Black alum Tatiana Maslany will portray attorney Jen Walters/She-Hulk in She-Hulk. Mark Ruffalo will also reprise the role of Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the series, alongside Tim Roth returning as Emil Blonsky/Abomination (The Incredible Hulk). The event also emphasized that the show would concentrate on Walters' work as a lawyer.

Kevin Feige has also revealed that She-Hulk will operate as a half-hour legal comedy, making this the first time the MCU has entered the realm of procedurals. She-Hulk is also expected to feature a female villain, who is described as a social media influencer with a dark side. The character, which is currently known as the codename Lucy, is expected to feature prominently in the series and appear in at least five episodes.

She-Hulk is directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia, with Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) serving as head writer. The series stars Tatiana Maslany, Tim Roth and Mark Ruffalo. She-Hulk does not currently have a release date.
