Disney+'s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will introduce one of Jennifer Walters' longtime rivals to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Several new stills have been released for the upcoming Disney+ series starring Tatiana Maslany as the titular Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk. As reported by ComicBook.com, the caption of one photo showing Jen Walters in a courtroom has revealed that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will include one of the character's longtime rivals from the comics: Dennis "Buck" Bukowski. He will be portrayed in live-action by Drew Matthews.

Created by David Anthony Kraft and Michael Vosburgh, Buck Buckowski, a criminal prosecutor, first appeared in Savage She-Hulk #2 in 1980 where he came head to head with the defense attorney, Jennifer Walters. In the comics, Buckowski would inadvertently cause the death of Jennifer's best friend, Jill Stevens, an incident he blamed on She-Hulk. While he was one of Jen Walters/She-Hulk's first antagonists and would go on to appear sporadically throughout the comics, it's unclear what role the character will play in the Disney+ series.

She-Hulk Comes to Disney+

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will star Maslany as the titular lawyer, She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, and will follow Jen as she "navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk." She-Hulk will consist of nine, half-hour episodes featuring a host of MCU guest stars. She-Hulk was announced as a Marvel Studios/Disney+ series in 2019 and was later confirmed as a half-hour legal comedy by Marvel Studios president and chief creative officer Kevin Feige. This will be the first MCU series to enter the realm of procedural shows.

Marvel Studios recently released the official trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, offering audiences the first full look at the MCU's newest green hero. Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, a return that was confirmed by Marvel Studios in 2020. Along with Ruffalo, Tim Roth will reprise his role as Emil Blonsky/Abomination from 2008's The Incredible Hulk. The cast will also include Benedict Wong as Wong, as well as Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

Created by Stan Lee and John Buscema, Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk debuted in Marvel Comics' The Savage She-Hulk #1 in 1980. The character was introduced as the cousin of Bruce Banner, who gained the powers of the Hulk after receiving a blood transfusion from Bruce. However, unlike her cousin, Jennifer stayed in her Hulk form without a transformation, able to continue her everyday life as a lawyer while simultaneously protecting the world as a superhero.

Written by Jessica Gao and directed by Kay Coiro and Anu Valia, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on Aug. 18.
