The latest MCU rumor claims Charlie Cox's return as Daredevil on She-Hulk will not connect to his solo series.

The r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers moderators revealed a number of rumored details about some upcoming Marvel TV series and movies, chief among them that Jim Carrey has been cast as M.O.D.O.K. and Blade will debut on Moon Knight. The subreddit's mods have a good track record of vetting leakers, and a few of the details shared by the mysterious individual have seemingly been confirmed already. According to the source, Cox will, in fact, appear as Matt Murdock/Daredevil on She-Hulk, but the leaker claims it will be a "different" version of the character than the one who appeared on Netflix's Daredevil and The Defenders.

Back in July, rumors first emerged that Cox would reprise his role as Daredevil on She-HulkIt wasn't clear at the time, however, whether he'd be the superhero or the lawyer, given the show is a courtroom sitcom about Jennifer Walters practicing law while hulked out. But the new rumor seems to confirm Cox will play the Man Without Fear, though not the one fans know from the Netflix universe of Marvel shows.

It's been clear for some time that the MCU's eventual versions of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Punisher, and others won't exactly mirror those seen on the Defenders-connected shows, despite the potential of the same actors playing the characters. What this means, exactly, is unclear, but it likely confirms that details from the shows won't factor into these "new" takes on the heroes. They will also probably get new costumes and perhaps even supporting characters and cast members.

Along with the news of Daredevil and M.O.D.O.K., it seems that Mark Ruffalo's appearance as Bruce Banner -- but not Professor Hulk -- in the Shang-Chi mid-credits scene ties into She-Hulk. The leak claims he will de-Hulk to give his cousin Jennifer the blood transfusion that will turn her into She-Hulk. He will then have trouble changing back, as he did in Avengers: Infinity War. The show will feature the two training together, with Hulk finally using his iconic clap attack.

Tim Roth's Emil Blonsky/Abomination will also have a big role, as with Jameela Jamil's Titania, the show's main villain. William Hurt is also said to appear as Thunderbolt Ross, but Liv Tyler's Betty Ross is not slated to return. Finally, the show will reportedly see the debut of the Wrecking Crew, who will be brought to life using motion capture.

Again, all of these reported details are still rumors until Marvel reveals more official details about She-Hulk, which does not yet have a release date on Disney+.
