With She-Hulk getting her own series at Disney+ it was only a matter of time until character breakdowns were released and casting choices announced. While Jennifer Walters herself has now been cast, there's plenty of other characters from the comics that are associated with the series.

There's no telling what else Marvel Studios will draw from the source material. While some characters have appeared in the MCU in the past, there's a strong case to be made that there may be further influences on each of them from the comics. Furthermore, the stories that will be adapted have yet to be revealed, which will also have a huge impact on the heroes and villains involved.

10 Jennifer Walters

Jennifer Walters is the titular She-Hulk so it's not too much of a surprise to see her associated with the series. The lawyer is one of the most popular heroes in Marvel Comics and her history with the company is really quite interesting.

She initially started out as a character who broke the fourth wall. Before Deadpool was doing his own gimmick it was really She-Hulk that brought this idea into the mainstream. What's more, she makes a deliberate choice not to morph into her human form, defending people struggling with similar power related issues like herself.

9 Bruce Banner

Bruce Banner is very much already present in the MCU. In the comics he has gone through many versions of the Hulk, some of which were hugely powerful and unpredictable while others seemed to carry more intelligence than expected.

Bruce Banner is the reason his cousin becomes She-Hulk, as a blood transfusion between the family members mutates Walters. With Professor Hulk now featured as the MCU version of the character, it's easy to see how that kind of experiment could go wrong.

8 Thunderbolt Ross

Thunderbolt Ross is another character that has returned to the MCU after quite the absence. The character in the films has already had quite the departure from the comics, becoming more of a government man enforcing the rule of law, rather than associated with the military.

Having said that, there's a comic book story that still has to play out at some stage in the universe. Ross ironically becomes the Red Hulk, something that this series could explore in great detail, as Ross may have to come to Walters to help him with his new condition and its consequences.

7 Betty Ross

The Thunderbolt's daughter, Betty Ross is a character who has appeared once in the MCU so far, but in the comics, she also becomes a version of the Hulk. It's this transformation that could allow a super team to be formed between the two female brawlers.

Betty Ross has a very complex relationship with Bruce Banner so it would be fascinating to see the two crossover once more. The character would also, therefore, have some kind of friendship with Walters since she was once close with the family.

6 The Leader

The Leader

Samuel Sterns has been featured in the MCU, but his role in the universe stopped short of his transformation into the Leader. This is the prime time to bring back that character and become heavily influenced by the comic books.

If there's any character who would be more interested in the passing of Hulk DNA than Bruce Banner, it's the Leader. He may be a perfect villain for She-Hulk to face off against, as she has done so before in the comics.

5 The Abomination

The Abomination didn't quite look like his comic book counterpart, but the architects of the MCU have always made clear that the character is still alive in the universe and perhaps could have even have been experimented on further.

If She-Hulk, therefore, needs a physical threat to fight off against then it has to be the Abomination. The character is one of the arch-enemies of She-Hulk in the comics and it would be interesting to see her brawn tested rather than just her brain.

4 Rick Jones

Rick Jones is one of Bruce Banner's best friends in the comics, but he hasn't yet appeared in live-action. Asides from that, he also goes through his own gamma radiation transformation, becoming the blue hero known as A-Bomb.

Rick Jones is quite an important sidekick throughout Marvel Comics. It makes sense to perhaps bring him in as some kind of assistant to Jennifer Walters, until of course, he goes through his own Hulk up.

3 Matt Murdock

Comic book fans are thrilled by the prospects of Matt Murdock returning to the MCU. With the Daredevil character finishing on Netflix, fans are hoping he will arrive as some kind of legal counsel for another hero; many people are predicting that Spider-Man will acquire his assistance.

However, another franchise that the character has been linked to, thanks in part to his role in the comics, is She-Hulk. Jennifer Walters is bound to come across this famous lawyer at some stage, even if he doesn't suit up in his iconic red costume.

2 Doc Samson

Doc Samson has very briefly appeared in the MCU but this was before any kind of superhero makeover. In the comics, Doc Samson is a very reputable source on a number of scientific explorations. Not just a psychologist, he has his own research underway on gamma.

This may be a role Samson can serve in the show, considering he may have been fascinated to broaden his area of studies. The character also has unbelievable powers as a result of his own accident, which would only keep with the superhero theme.

1 Hulking

While Amadeus Cho is an important part of the Hulk lore, however, he is a character that would take away from She-Hulk. Bringing in a young Hulking may be a way of setting up the next generation, without them taking the spotlight.

Hulking is a combination of a few things, including Skrulls which are established in the MCU. It also seems that multiple MCU properties are bringing in members of the Young Avengers and Hulking seems like a suitable addition for She-Hulk.
