She-Hulk: Attorney at Law director Kat Coiro discussed why returning Marvel Cinematic Universe hero Daredevil (Charlie Cox) will be a fan favorite when the upcoming Marvel Studios series hits Disney+.

Coiro touched on the topic during an interview with EW, saying, "Can I tell you how excited I was when the audience was able to see that and I realized that I did not have to keep that secret anymore? Yes, Daredevil is in the show. I mean, how can you have a legal comedy and not have Daredevil come into it?" Coiro went on to add that Matt Murdock and Jennifer Walters' respective wits match each other, concluding by teasing Cox's performance in the series. "I am definitely excited for Daredevil to make his appearance, because I think he's going to be a crowd favorite," she said. "But I can't tell you anything else about that. The Marvel police is a real thing, and I don't want to get arrested by them."

Coiro wasn't the only person involved with She-Hulk's production to talk about Daredevil's presence in the show. Leading lady Tatiana Maslany previously delved into the subject as well, albeit without revealing what the Man Without Fear's role would be. "I don't want to say anything," said Maslany. "I just want to say that it was -- I think the fans will be really happy. Because [Cox is] amazing. He's really amazing."

Head writer Jessica Gao also previously explained that She-Hulk's writers were shocked to receive the go-ahead to use Daredevil. "And then, I can't remember how, we got wind that he was coming back and that it was Charlie Cox, and we were like, 'Wait, does that I mean we can use him? Are we allowed?'" Gao said. "And when they told us 'Yeah,' I mean, we couldn't believe it. We thought we were being pranked."

Outside of Daredevil, She-Hulk will also see the debut of Frog-Man and supposedly bring in The Thing of the Fantastic Four, though the latter has not been confirmed by Marvel Studios.
