Last year, filmmaker David F. Sandberg brought a sense of levity to the DC Extended Universe in the form of Shazam!, which starred Zachary Levi as the World's Mightiest Mortal and Asher Angel as his youthful alter ego, Billy Batson. But Sandberg got an assist with some of the comedy, revealing that one of the movie's most memorable and comedic lines was completely improvised by Levi."Zac improvised the 'get him Batman' line," Sandberg stated in a tweet, referring to Shazam's first battle with Dr. Sivana (Mark Strong). "He also [threw] Barbie dolls and yelled 'get him Barbie'. That was too much for me though."

In the actual film, when Shazam and Sivana's first battle leaks into a mall toy store, Shazam grabs a giant Batman toy and famously yells at the plastic Caped Crusader to get the villain while throwing it at him. This, unfortunately, does nothing to stop Sivana.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Zachary Levi as Shazam, Mark Strong as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana, Djimon Hounsou as the ancient wizard Shazam, Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vásquez and Marta Milans as Rosa Vásquez. The film is now available on Digital HD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD.
