With less than a month until Shazam! opens in theaters everywhere, the upcoming DC Extended Universe film has revealed its official runtime.
Posted on online movie theater ticketing site Fandango, the film runs for 2 hours and 12 minutes. In contrast, the longest running theatrical DCEU film is Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which runs at 2 hours and 31 minutes while its unrated cut runs for over 3 hours. The shortest DCEU film is Justice League which clocks in at exactly 2 hours.
The upcoming addition to the DCEU released its second trailer at the beginning of the week, providing fans with an extensive look at the magical superhero in action.
Following the adventures of teenage Billy Batson who is able to transform into the mighty Shazam, the new hero must fight the evil Doctor Thaddeus Sivana and defend his newfound foster family.
