The MTV Movie & TV Awards will have a superpowered host this year in the form of Shazam! star Zachary Levi. MTV broke the news when they posted a video to their YouTube page, featuring a playful Levi feigning confusion as he holds up an MTV Movie & TV award.

Throughout the 4-second clip, the 38-year-old repeats "oh what?" as his voice raises in pitch. The caption reads: "MTV taps Shazam! star Zachary Levi to host the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Monday, June 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT."

Levi follows a long list of celebrities to hold the title of host for the awards, including names like Justin Timberlake, Jessica Alba, Andy Samberg, Rebel Wilson, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and last year's host, Tiffany Haddish.

Started in 1992, the MTV Movie & TV Awards is an annual production that honors popular films and television shows for their achievements. Winners are chosen by the general public via online voting through the MTV website and, instead of a traditional trophy, they receive a golden popcorn statuette (like the one Levi holds in the clip).

Although the categories and nominees haven't been announced just yet, those details will undoubtedly hit in the upcoming weeks.

Sandberg, Shazam! stars Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Zachary Levi as Shazam, Mark Strong as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana, Djimon Hounsou as the ancient wizard Shazam, Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vásquez and Marta Milans as Rosa Vásquez.
