Although this isn't official confirmation that the trailer will actually arrive on this date, the report lines up with claims made by star Zachary Levi, who teased the premiere of a second trailer sometime early in 2019. There's a rumor that John Williams' 1978 theme for Richard Donner’s for Superman: The Movie will appear in the film, but Sandberg has since denied those rumors. However, the director added that he "can't really speak for the trailers."
