With a single magic word, teenager Billy Batson can transform into the mighty Shazam, and a new poster for the upcoming film teases the magical connection between the two.

With the Philadelphia skyline at dusk below, the poster shows Billy and his superhero alter ego within the powerful champion's iconic lightning bolt logo with the film's tagline, "Just say the word."

With just over a week until its wide theatrical release, Shazam! has already been well-received by critics, currently boasting an impressive score of 93 percent on review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes. Similarly, the film performed above expectations with special advance screenings this past weekend, earning $3.3 million, more than advance screenings of Aquaman in December.

As the latest DC Extended Universe hero, Shazam is off to a promising start ahead of the film's wide opening, with the new poster teasing a film full of fun and superhero action.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Zachary Levi as Shazam, Mark Strong as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana, Djimon Hounsou as the ancient wizard Shazam, Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield, Jack Dylan Grazer as Frederick “Freddy” Freeman, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vásquez and Marta Milans as Rosa Vásquez. The film hits theaters April 5.
