Along with reflecting about his casting as the lead character in Marvel Studios' Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Simu Liu also shared a wholesome story involving Black Widow star David Harbour.

On Instagram, Lui shared an photo from Marvel Studios' Hall H presentation at Comic-Con International in San Diego last year, during which he was announced to be playing Shang-Chi's eponymous character and was featured alongside various other present and future Marvel Cinematic Universe stars. "A year ago at Hall H, I told David Harbour that I was a huge fan of him as we walked offstage after our big group photo," Lui said. "He smiled and said, 'Kid, after seeing you onstage, I’m a big fan of you too!'"
