The Marvel Cinematic Universe has welcomed all manner of actors into its ongoing story. Often those actors will run into each other or work on projects together. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu is no different.

The actor was spotted with fellow MCU alum Benedict Wong at the Kogi Korean BBQ restaurant in Australia. The official Kogi Instagram account posted a picture of the two, thanking them for their continued support.

Wong portrayed Doctor Strange's partner and fellow Master of the Mystic Arts Wong in the Sorcerer Supreme's solo film. He would later reprise the role in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Wong is expected to return for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, helmed by Sam Raimi.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has resumed production after being shut down due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The film focuses on the Master of Kung-Fu and his relationship with the Mandarin, who leads the terrorist cell known as the Ten Rings. The Mandarin and the Ten Rings have been an integral part of the MCU's history, especially during the Iron Man trilogy. Liu was officially cast during the Marvel Studios panel at last year's Comic-Con International in San Diego.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Daniel Callaham, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings stars Simu Liu, Tony Leung and Awkwafina. The film arrives in theaters July 9, 2021.
