Images featuring a LEGO set for Marvel Studios' upcoming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings recently surfaced, showcasing just a few new details about the highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe entry.The packaging of the LEGO set appears to reveal an animal sidekick named Morris, who appears to have six legs and wings. The details on the image are not entirely clear. What is is that the insect-like sidekick is an entirely original character created specifically for the MCU. The packaging also gave fans a sneak peek at actor Simu Liu in costume as Shang-Chi.
Details surrounding the film are scarce. Though production completed in October 2020, Marvel Studio has been relatively quiet about the film. However, Liu recently teased, "It's gonna be so good when it comes out guys I PROMISE Just not today...just not today"
Opening Summer 2021, Simu Liu stars as Shang-Chi in Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings. Shang-Chi must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Daniel Callaham, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings stars Simu Liu, Tony Leung, Awkwafina, Michelle Yeoh, Jiang Nan, Meng'er Zhang. Ronny Cheng, Fala Chen and Jiang Len. The film arrives in theaters July 9.
