When HBO's Big Love takes its final bow next year, the Henrickson clan will close up shop with some help from two familiar faces.
TV Guide reports that Amanda Seyfried and Aaron Paul are returning to the series after their characters were written out at the end of the fourth season. In the show, Seyfried's Sarah moved off to Portland with her husband Scott (Paul) in order to pursue a new life together. The story direction was devised when Seyfried decided to leave the series in favor of her developing film career, while Paul had his own obligations as the impossibly troubled Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad, a role for which he won an Emmy award last year. Now, both Paul and Seyfried are returning for the show's final episode, which filmed earlier this month and airs in March 2011.
"Both Amanda and Paul really wanted to be a part of the last episode, even though they were both shooting movies," explains co-creator Will Scheffer. His partner Mark Olsen adds, "It was special. Literally and figuratively it was a family getting back together."
The final season of Big Love begins on January 11, 2011.
