Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming show Servant.
Following the release of the first teaser last week, the first full trailer showcases more of the creepy horror that will define one of the new streaming service's first original series. Servant follows a young couple who hire a nanny to look after their infant child, who the trailer reveals to be a doll substituting in for a baby lost at 13 weeks. As time progresses, it quickly becomes clear to the family that there is something sinister behind the person they have let into their home.
Apple greenlit the series, which was created by prolific British television writer Tony Basgallop, in April 2018. Shyamalan is attached to executive produce and direct the ten-episode first season. The series marks one of the first major projects for former Harry Potter star Rupert Grint, with principal photography concluding this past March.
Created by Tony Basgallop and directed and executive produced by M. Night Shyamalan, Servant stars Toby Kebbell, Lauren Ambrose, Nell Tiger Free and Rupert Grint. It is scheduled to premiere on Apple TV+ November 28.
