WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Servant Season 2, Episode 3, "Pizza," which aired Friday on Apple TV+.

In the latest episode of Servant, "Pizza," Dorothy Turner's desperate search for Leanne Grayson, and by extension her son Jericho, takes a slightly comic turn. Hoping to infiltrate a mansion she believes Leanne and her cult family are hiding in, she enlists the help of her husband Sean and brother Julian to create a fake Christianity-themed pizza delivery service, "Cheezus Crust," to entice the mansion's occupants.

This outlandish plan succeeds, as Sean's commis-chef-turned-pizza-boy Tobe discovers a surprised Leanne working in the Marino household. However, despite the already extreme lengths that Dorothy has gone through to retrieve her son, she takes another drastic step, which goes too far, endangering Leanne, Tobe and the entire Turner-Pearce family.

After confirming that Leanne is working inside the mansion for the Marino family, the matriarch of which is gravely ill, Dorothy is worked up and nearly runs out the door to retrieve Leanne. However, the Marino household orders one more pizza, which Dorothy personally makes as Sean and Julian strategize their next move.

Tobe delivers the pizza and has a conversation with Leanne, who describes Dorothy as "cruel." Soon, after Tobe admits that the Turners know of her location, Leanne falls unconscious. Dorothy is not shocked, as she drugged Leanne's pizza. She instructs Tobe to kidnap Leanne and bring her back to the Turner residence, blackmailing him by threatening to call the police and pin the drugging on him. As Sean and Julian sit back, dumbstruck, Dorothy nonchalantly helps herself to another slice of pizza.

This act of poisoning and blackmail is Dorothy's most unforgivable act so far. Not only has she drugged Leanne, potentially causing her bodily harm, but she has also forced the always loyal Tobe to commit a serious crime, a slap in the face to his already above and beyond efforts. However, it is consistent with her character, as she has proved time and again that she would do anything to find Jericho.

This is not to say Sean and Julian do not shoulder some of the blame. Their constant plotting and gaslighting in order to hide the truth from Dorothy has now spiraled out of control and has led to serious consequences for Leanne and Tobe. Also, this drastic move could incite the wrath of the Church of the Lesser Saints, who might target the Turner family to once again reclaim Leanne.

Starring Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, Nell Tiger Free and Rupert Grint, the second season of Servant airs every Friday on Apple TV+.
