Welcome to Send Us Your Shelf Porn, where our only concern is figuring out what's on your bookshelves.

Our special guest this week is blogger Russ Kazmierczak, who was kind enough to send pictures of his self-described "old Man-Cave." "I live in a slightly smaller place right now," he writes, "but this collection is still complete and displayed, and all of this stuff is treasured in its own geeky way."

So, without further ado, let's take a gander at Russ' shelves ...

This corner of the room displays more nostalgia than collectability, with the Christmas stocking I came home from the hospital in, the desk I've had since I was 11 years old, my grandmother's old portrait of my mom that haunted my youth, and the pirate busts my great aunt handmade. Yeah, I'm my biggest fan. Closer examination reveals Erik Larsen, Norm Breyfogle, and Mark Waid signed comics, and a Mike Wieringo Thing pillow I found at a dollar store shortly after he passed away.

My "old school" shelf has classic and 200X Masters of the Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Thundercats figures and play sets. A few original sketches by Bret Blevins, Min Ku, and Bill Galvan, not to mention some He-Man paint-by-numbers my grandpa did back in the day, hang above the shelf, along with a Garth Ennis signed Preacher poster and a David Letterman signed glossy (though I think an intern really signed that one, since I mailed away for it).

Superhero explosion! Plenty more JLU and DCUC figures have been released since I took this picture, but here's the beginning of the collection/obsession -- ah, those were the days, when you could actually FIND the figures you wanted at a local Target or Wal-Mart. Check out my signed Alex Ross Justice League plate, and my Wizard of Oz/Dark Side of the Moon synchronized DVD!

Pic 4: Misc. posters, including a "Mystery of the Batwoman" poster signed by Kevin Conway and company. Yes, those are Monkees albums (with the third one signed by Micky and Peter, and since then, Davy) -- I love the Monkees. Alex Ross does, too, so I don't mind saying. If only a man-crush on Davy Jones could instill EVERY fanboy with mad painting skills . . .

Finally, more Monkees swag, and memorabilia from my own comic book self-publishing effort, K.O. Comix. Ahh! There's my mom again! No matter where you are in the room, she's always looking at you -- and she's proud you kept all those toys she bought.
